How would you describe your style?
My style is all about emotion. Whether I’m shooting your engagement session or your wedding day, I’m always look for those moments full of life + emotion. I will use minimal posing, but will give you plenty of direction so you so you can work into the shot I’m hoping to capture. My favorite shots are the ones where you’re completely wrapped up in one another and you completely forget that I’m there.
Do you travel for weddings and portrait sessions?
Yes I do! Though I shoot the majority of my weddings in Wisconsin, I’m always open to adventuring further from home. I do offer discounted rates for weddings outside of the Midwest so please send me an email with your information and I’ll send over a custom quote. My passport is always current.
Who is your ideal client?
My ideal client is laid back couple crazy in love who isn’t afraid of doing their own thing when it comes to planning their wedding. They like to create their own traditions and they hire me because they value my artistic approach to wedding photography.
How many edited images will I receive?
From a two hour portrait session you can expect 75-115 images and from an eight hour wedding you can expect to receive 600-800 images. Every session/ wedding is different so those numbers are just an average.
Will you work off of a shot list?
I require a shot list for your family portraits, but other than that I prefer not to work off one. I find that shot lists can hinder the creative process of documenting a wedding and the best images are created when the couple completely trusts me to do what I do best.
